Google Home Hub Not Dimming. is your nest hub or hub max screen a little too bright? so if your google home hub won't dim, the first thing to do is swipe up from the bottom of the screen. the nest hub without a cam is limited and its auto brightness feature is counter intuitive. you can lower the volume of google assistant’s responses and dim the brightness of google nest or home. Tap between light, dark and auto. select settings cog (bottom right corner) select display within the menu. my main requirement of the nest hub (2nd gen) was to replace my digital clock on my nightstand. If your choice is auto, it will make your display. Try the google home night mode setting to dim it down for sleep or ambiance. display wont dim until i reboot, then the next night wont dim until i reboot, have 2 displays ,same problem on both.
